After the Eighth Dalai Lama got enthroned, the central Qing government titled him and bestowed on him golden album and golden seal. In particular, the golden seal is cast of 70 taels of gold whereon Chinese, Tibetan, Manchu and Mongolian languages are inscribed. The inscription reads the same as that of the Seventh Dalai Lama.
